About the event

These 50 minute workout classes are held at our studio Tuesday and Thursday at 9am and last for 50-60 Minutes. During class, Dr. Ashley will lead women and mother's through a core focused workout expanding on the basics taught in our 4th Trimester Rehab and Core program. We continue to focus on our breathing with each move and our coordination to our core. Exercises will be a combination of strengthening moves for our upper and lower bodies, pilates, yoga and barre inspired exercises that have been revamped and modified by Dr. Ashley to improve form, mechanics and the appropriate strengthening of specific muscle groups. Class sizes are still intimate allowing modifications by Dr. Ashley throughout the workouts as needed for each woman.

Please note: If you are postpartum (2 years or less), it is highly recommended going through Dr. Ashley's 4th Trimester Rehab & Core Program before jumping into these monthly classes. Mothers that are over 2 years postpartum and had exposure to postpartum Physical Therapy, proper core healing are welcome to join with recommendations of having a Women's Wellness Assessment so Dr. Ashley can best guide your form, provide core focused feedback on your physical strengths and weaknesses.

Can any woman join regardless if they have been pregnant or given birth? YES!!!! Whether you want to begin a healthy and safe workout program, want a more intimate workout setting by a professional Doctor of Physical Therapy, have specific fitness goals, or maybe have plans for future pregnancy....all women are welcome. Dr. Ashley encourages a Women's Wellness Assessment to discuss your goals, assess body mechanics and physical strengths and weaknesses to better develop workouts and exercises for the women in class.

This is a 12 week program; includes 24 classes, Voxer support during the weeks to help encourage and empower mothers to complete simple daily activities and functional movements on non-class days. Voxer is a FREE app that is used like a walkie-talkie. You can send messages to Dr. Ashley throughout the weeks whether they are questions that arise, or need motivation between classes. You will receive additional tips, reminders and weekly challenges to help support additional work physically throughout the 12 weeks.
